Hope for the Journey is a one-day, trauma-informed training designed for anyone who works with children impacted by trauma.
Through engaging video sessions, interactive discussions, and live Q&A, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the effects of trauma, build practical caregiving strategies, and leave feeling supported and encouraged in your parenting journey.
Join us on Saturday, October 10, at The Compassion Center. Doors open at 8:30 a.m., with training beginning promptly at 9:00 a.m. and concluding at 4:00 p.m.
Your $5 registration includes coffee, snacks, and lunch. Please indicate any gluten-free or dairy-free dietary needs during registration. Training hours will be provided for currently licensed foster families. Please note that childcare is not available for this event.
Whether you're a current foster, adoptive, or kinship parent, or you're preparing to begin that journey, Hope for the Journey will encourage, equip, and strengthen you as you care for vulnerable children. -

In Support of Hope Bridge, Inc.
Hope Bridge is on a gospel-led mission to mobilize the state of Ohio to step into the crisis within its foster care system by raising awareness and equipping churches and communities in the care and support of vulnerable children and families.
Our organization stands along the foster care system continuum with a variety of direct service programs that work intentionally in the spaces of Prevention, Intervention, and Restoration. We believe that the greatest impact can be made through the mobilization and combined efforts of the Church. Our Church Mobilization program tilts its efforts toward building relationships within local churches and connecting them to the other direct service programs and volunteer opportunities we offer.
